*also, If your browser is not allowing access to simple http websites like ours was, because they are not SSL secure (https) which costs extra or incurs time consuming migration of long-standing big sites, then you maybe need to adjust some settings
our firefox for example on our desktop machine simply gives a little icon warning in the corner
but others eg safari on apple IOS on iphones/ipads blocks access
so a fix for these is as follows
if you Safari browser on iOS is displaying a *Not Secure* warning for websites that use HTTP and actually blocking access to http sites, (not https ;eg our websites are non SSL ) it might be due to a setting or a problem with the browser or device. Here is how to check and fix it:
1. Enable Not Secure Warnings:
iOS 18.2 or later:
Go to Settings > Apps > Safari. Below Privacy & Security, turn on *Not Secure Connection Warning*
this gives u the warning but allows you to overide the warning and continue to the webpage
only use for websites you are sure of!
