Tiring but enjoyable day learning how to lay a hedge!
we Just need to remember the technique for the next 5 years by which time our hedgings should be big enough to lay!

'Hedgelaying Workshop' held at Cannerheugh Farm near Renwick, Penrith,
The excellent session was led by the wonderful Lee Bassett,
& Rebecca Slack, Cumbria Biodiversity Data Centre
interesting, as i was checking out the Westmorland style of hedging when we got home (we did Midland bullock style with binders at top on the course), I came across some wonderful videos from an old patient of mine (unfortunately no longer with us) a real character RIP
