Cub Scouts from the Levens Valley Pack joined with 1st Garnge & Cartmel Cubs

Base Maintenance Days

Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st March

Sessions 1000 until 1300 and 1400 until 1700 each day

The main tasks are to:

Paint the exterior of the new Equipment Store (2 coats)
Paint the final coat on the exterior of the Base

Spring clean the interior of the Base.

We are looking for volunteers.

Swimming abbot hall time change 6 till 7 I have asked for a lifeguard, 1 have 1 parent volunteer but would like another male to go in changing room and in pool .

Half term

Countries /costumes and currency
Invest the new beavers

March 3rd
Mustard cress seeds in pot – decorate pot
Magnets and iron filings
Take a torch to bits

Build a lego model - cath

Know what to do in an emergency

Visit firestation- times to be advised

an extra possible small source of fundraising is advertising on this website as a sponsor.

what i propose is that any ad revenue derived from this site be split 50-50 between soul-trade.com(me!) and the scouts, as i must try and cover some of the associated server, backup and maintenance costs.

i have already spent in excess of 12 hrs work, designing testing and upping this site and, although i have designed it so that parents and admin can post and adjust it, i know from experience that the hours involved in ongoing maintenance continue as do the fixed costs.

i trust this is fair as that there is now an extra possible source of revenue for the troop, not previously available.

also once my setup and maintenance costs were met, i should be happy to pass on whatever profits acrue...

but i propose ads for a couple of months for only £10
