herewith cockpit for possible Puffin sprayhood, where to fit tubing?

this is what i would like the finished item to resemble

wiring 3 hi i was looking at making a sprayhood for my old drascombe longboat cruiser. i was looking at the fittings on this page and wondered whether you could advise which parts i would need, to try to emulate this sprayhood seen on this boat above. i was thinking that the bottom pivot assembly could be placed in the duckboards or i could make use of the barton tufnol track already on the side for the jibsheet cam, but am wondering how to get a v hinge setup from the bottom. any advice greatly received. i assume i can gently bend the tube in a wood vice here at home.

recent enquiry letter - new plan
"hi
i am planning a simple 2 tube folding spray hood frame for my Drascombe longboat Cruiser (21 ft open boat with a cuddy/cabin)

1/ side of cabin mount .. looking at your 22 inch page https://www.seascrew.com/browse.cfm?22MM--7-8----NYLON-TUBE-FITTINGS-FOR-BIMINI---CANOPY&l=0000000738
i thought i might be able to use the White Nylon Side Mount x2 (Reference 4637721) affixed to the side of the cabin with 2x White Nylon End Eye (Reference 4637713)
together with the sliding fork x2 (Reference 4637703) giving me the forward tube.
if i were to use a thumb or wing screw for the side mount (and similarly for the sliding fork perhaps) would this allow me to fold down/lock in position.
— i think i’ll only need 10-20degrees of hinging) i am assuming that i could use a m6 thumb/wing screw instead of the supplied screw (on your site you state ¼ inch UNC machine screw) i was thinking of using your light anodised 22mm tube.
can you give me your thoughts on this please. (there may be a solution using the 20mm tubing and fittings as i see you have hinges for them )
the boat cabin can be seen above

or 2/ top of cabin mount
using the 20mm fittings on https://www.seascrew.com/browse.cfm?20MM-NYLON-TUBE-FITTINGS-FOR-BIMINI---CANOPY&l=0000000737
to copy this frame wiring 7

mounted on top of the cabin (i will want a slightly lower setup to reduce windage)
using 2x fork base (Reference 4637731) with 2x White Nylon Top Part of the Pivot Base That take the 20mm tube. (Reference 4663200)
with the forward tube attached with 2x White Nylon Swivel Tee Joint (Reference 4663000)
again using winged screws to allow for manual tightening —
or dropped pin — using the fore and aft fittings; studs at front — cord at rear to keep it in position)
